Red Eye at Sea

This week we encountered a small problem. One of our daughters had caught red eye!!!

The solution was simple in the captain’s eye. He’d learned in the Caribbean how it was treated with two drops of lime juice in each eye. And the fact that we had no doctor to go to and the belief that the simpler the better, I tried this remedy on my daughter. Believe it or not, it worked. Next day she was fine and so far a week has gone by. We’ve been in the sun the ocean and no more red eye! It wasn’t me who received the drops so it makes it easier to accept yet always having limes on hand for ceviches and fish really helped this time.
If you are out on sea never leave limes with out you!
Have a great day!
