DIA DE LA INDEPENDENCIA

El pasado mes celebramos nuestra independencia con una invitación de la Embajada de Colombia en Panamá donde nos ofrecieron toda clase de delicias colombianas.

En el menú que fué preparado por chefs traidos desde Colombia, unos de Andrés Carne de Res y otros de Casa Vieja. Hubo Ajiaco, Arepas, Chorizo, Papita Amarilla y Tamales. Como platillos de dulce ofrecieron- arequipe, brevas, bocadillo con queso o matrimonio y mas.

INDEPENDENCE DAY
The past 20th of July we were invited by the Colombian Embassy in Panama to celebrate our Independence Day.
They brought chefs from two renown restaurants in Bogotá, Andrés Carne de Res and Casa Vieja.
The menu included Ajiaco soup, arepas, chorizo, yellow potatoes and tamales. For sweets we had arequipe, dulce de brevas and guava paste we call bocadillo with white farmer´s cheese a combination we call Wedding.
